Peyton Vincent, Owner
A born and raised San Diegan whose DJ experience dates all the way back to La Jolla High's lunchtime radio show on KLJH. With well over a decade of special event entertainment experience since then, he is well qualified to be the full-time customer service specialist and face of the company while keeping 100% of the ~200 events per year running smoothly.
Peyton's performance style is best described as being a moderatetly interactive MC and a talented DJ with strengths in song selection,club-style song mixing, and detail-oriented "behind the scenes" planning support.
Matt Kriegsfeld, DJ/MC
Raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Matt's DJing dates back to before he was allowed to drive. After being one of the only people to ever spin records at their own Bar Mitzvah, Matt began working for SKM Entertainment shortly before his 14th birthday. Almost 10 years and over 500 events later, Matt has become a favorite among brides, grooms, and B'nai Mitzvah parents for his high attention to detail and his overall event management skills.
Matt's performance style is best described as being a moderatetly to moderately-high interactive MC and a talented DJ with strengths in song selection,overall event management, and meticulous pre-event planning.
J. Soul, DJ/MC
Born in the small town of Nacogdoches, Texas and raised all over the country, J. Soul has worn many hats throughout his career: singer/songwriter, club DJ, mobile DJ, MC, and on-air radio personality. Growing up an Air Force brat, he has lived in 7 different states across the U.S. and has soaked up pieces of culture from each of them. J's career began not as a DJ but as a singer competing in talent shows throughout his youth and he went on to write over 500 songs and record many of them. In 2002, shortly after his Season 2 American Idol audition, he joined the show choir of the school he was attending and this affiliation eventually led him to his first job as an on-air personality for a local Urban radio station. His work on the air and behind the scenes at that station and its sister Country station secured him a spot as a DJ at the biggest club in the area, DJing for over 1500 people each weekend. In 2004, he relocated to the Washington, DC area where he joined a wedding band called "Black Tie" as a lead singer for the biggest event entertainment company in the area. The band performed at hundreds of special events during his tenure with them. During this time, he perfected his microphone skills and came into his own as an entertainer and a interactive crowd-pleaser. In 2006, he was given the opportunity to become a head DJ at another large entertainment company called Electric Entertainment. In the year he was with them, he DJ'd over 30 school dances as well as corporate functions, Mitzvahs and weddings. In his quest to further his career, he moved to San Diego in 2007 and began performing as a DJ and MC for La Jolla Disc Jockeys. Since then he has performed at almost 100 school dances, weddings, and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs handling both the DJ and MC responsibilities. He specializes in staying up to date with the most current music and providing a fun and exciting interactive atmosphere on the dance floor at every event that he does. His upbeat personality and vast music knowledge makes him extremely versatile, able to handle any event that is placed in front of him. It's fair to say that J. Soul eats, sleeps and breathes music and knows how to use that music to entertain audiences of all ages and sizes.
Cameron Smith, DJ/MC
Since being on stage with his uncle as a child, Cameron’s love for music has been a large part of his life. Originally from Gig Harbor, Washington, he began his DJ career at the age of 13 while volunteering at the local radio station. While in high school Cameron started a mobile DJ company that he operated successfully through college performing at events including weddings, high school dances, corporate events and night clubs. After completing his undergraduate studies, Cameron relocated to San Diego to begin his professional career. He has been with La Jolla DJ’s since the summer of 2008 after nine years of operating his own company. Cameron’s DJ/MC style can be adapted for any event. He can be very interactive and entertaining or can provide subtle professionalism. His music background is well versed in genres ranging from jazz, classic rock to the latest top 40/hip-hop club mixing style. With his 11 years of experience, Cameron can exceed your DJ expectations at any event.
Dan Brinchman, DJ/MC
Born and raised right here in San Diego, Dan takes pride in his southern Californian roots. He has traveled throughout the state and country seeking out new types of music and has been a music lover since childhood. That's when he took up drumming, an interest that opened doors to a wide variety of music types including hip-hop, rock, and jazz.
As a college student in San Diego, Daniel began to work with La Jolla Disc Jockeys. He trained with three of the company's top DJs, accompanying them at over 50 events. Within his first year of first touching the turntables, his talents had matured to the point where is now proud to have almost a hundred events of his own under his belt. His experience as a DJ/MC includes working all types of events including birthday parties, weddings, school dances, corporate functions, and B'nai Mitzvahs. His music library and selection are spot on - creating the perfect party atmosphere at every event. Not only is he known for his high-energy dance sets, Dan's upbeat and friendly attitude make clients feel at ease during the first vital step of any event: the planning phase. His music and event knowledge, partnered with his positive attitude will make any party you want to throw a success.
